User Question: I am submitting my affirmative asylum application online. Is it important to upload all the evidence at the time of submission, or can I submit evidence later? I am doing it all by myself. Please help if anyone knows or has done an online application.
Expert Answer: It is recommended to submit as much supporting evidence as possible with your initial I-589 application. However, you can submit additional evidence later, including before your interview or in response to a Request for Evidence (RFE) from USCIS. Keep copies of all documents for your records.
