Immigration Q&A

Your Question
Hi, I have an interview next week on Wednesday, but I did not submit the statements yet because I got the interview just a month after I applied. Question: Is it too late to submit? And will it affect my interview?

It is recommended to submit your statement and supporting evidence as soon as possible. USCIS prefers to receive documents at least a week before the interview, but you can still bring them to the interview. If you are unable to submit them in advance, be prepared to explain why and provide them at the interview. Delayed submission may impact your case if the officer does not have enough time to review your statement beforehand.
