Hello, just wanna ask, if my child (8 years old) can also get an SSN while on pending asylum? Or only the parents?

Yes, children with a pending asylum case can also apply for a Social Security Number (SSN) if they have been issued an Employment Authorization Document (EAD). If your child does not have an EAD, they may not be eligible for an SSN at this time.
